Palestinian child killed, 18 wounded in renewed Israeli aggression


GAZA, A Palestinian child was killed and 18 people were wounded as a result of a series of Israeli airstrikes on different targets in the Gaza Strip.

Adham Abu Selmeyyah, spokesman for the Emergency Services department in Gaza, said the 13-year-old Mahmoud Atef Abu Samrah was killed, while 18 others, all of them civilians were wounded and taken to Shifa hospital.He added that the casualties fell in two of the attacks, one of them targeting a house close to the Safina neighbourhood in north west Gaza City, and another home in west Gaza City.Local sources also reported that Israeli aircraft attacked different targets in the northern and southern Gaza Strip, including a Qassam Brigades position.PIC correspondent said that the airstrike in Khan Younis targeted a Qassam Brigades position called the Qadeseyyah, two other targets to the east of Khan Younis and a target in Beit Lahya resulting in the explosion of gas lines in the area.Abu Selmeyyah said later that one person is missing inside a tunnel after Israeli aircraft targeted the Salam neighbourhood in Rafah.Israeli aircraft targeted two tunnels in Salam and Qassas neighbourhoods in Rafah on Friday at dawn.
