GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed yet another massacre against Palestinian civilians and children in Gaza City on Sunday evening, following an intense artillery bombardment that targeted Al-Nakheel Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
According to medical and local sources, 11 civilians — including 8 children — were killed, and several others critically wounded, after Israeli artillery shelled Al-Nakheel Street in eastern Gaza City.
The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that its teams retrieved six bodies, including three children, and treated a number of severely injured civilians after an Israeli attack struck a group of people gathered around a bakery.
The sources noted that the Israeli aerial and artillery assaults since dawn on Sunday have resulted in over 40 martyrs and hundreds of injuries across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
The IOF troops have now been carrying out a full-scale genocidal assault for the 21st consecutive day, targeting civilians, families, and displaced persons with repeated atrocities.
Since the resumption of Israel’s genocidal war on 18 March, the death toll has risen to 1,335 martyrs and 3,297 injuries.
The overall toll since the beginning of the war on 7 October 2023 has now reached 50,695 martyrs and 115,338 injuries, according to health ministry data in Gaza.
