GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) 200 Palestinian fishermen have been killed since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip more than a year ago, the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture said on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, approximately 4,600 tons of the total amount of fish production—worth over $20 million—were lost as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Strip.
The Israeli genocidal war rendered roughly 5,000 fishermen in the Strip jobless.
The Israeli gunboats and warplanes have been deliberately targeting the fishermen of the Gaza Strip, intending to prevent them from fishing as part of the ongoing starvation campaign against the people of Gaza.
