BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli army continued on Tuesday its bloody war and escalated its military operation in Lebanon for the 23rd day, bombing inhabited homes and attempting to advance in its ground incursion in the country, while Hezbollah continued its counterattacks and fierce confrontation at the border areas.
The Israeli occupation army announced that it had bombed 200 targets in Lebanon during the past 24 hours.
From Monday evening to early Tuesday, Israeli warplanes continued its relentless airstrikes on several towns and locations in southern, eastern, and northern Lebanon, killing 23 people and injuring eight others.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the death toll of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has surged to 2,309 martyrs, in addition to 10,782 wounded since October 8, 2023.
For its part, Hezbollah continued its confrontation of Israeli attempts of ground invasion in some axes and villages in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah announced at dawn Tuesday that its forces bombed with missiles Israeli army’s gatherings in different locations in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa farms.
It also confirmed that the party’s fighters carried out 34 operations to deter the army’s attempts to advance into southern Lebanon and targeted its military sites and bases in addition to Israeli settlements in northern 1948 Occupied Palestine.
On Monday, 18 people were killed and four others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building sheltering displaced people in the town of Eto, in the Zgharta District, in northern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Red Cross.
