27 October will be observed Black day

Karachi (Palestine Foundation Information Center)  A delegation of Hurriyat leaders met with the Secretary-General of the Palestine Foundation (PLF), Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, and the leaders of the Patron Committee at the PLF Secretariat. A conference was held where Ghulam Muhammad Safi, leader of the Kashmir Hurriyat Conference, addressed the audience. He said that immediately after the partition of the region, on October 27, 1947, India occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Quran clearly states that the Jews and polytheists are not your friends. As an Ummah, we must unite in our struggle for Palestine and Kashmir. India, by adopting Zionist policies, is attempting to turn the Muslim-majority region of Jammu and Kashmir into a non-Muslim majority area. Zionism is active in Palestine, and in Kashmir, imperialism is at work. The alliance between Israel and India continues to oppress Kashmir. Israel is providing its military strength to India against Kashmir. The issues of Kashmir and Palestine are of great importance to the Muslim world. The global community remains silent on the issues of Kashmir and Palestine. It is commendable that the Prime Minister of Pakistan highlighted the issues of Palestine and Kashmir in the United Nations General Assembly session. The Hurriyat Conference and Palestine Foundation are jointly struggling against the oppressors. It is our duty to strive for the solution to the Kashmir issue on political, economic, social, moral, and military fronts. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference is the voice of the oppressed Kashmiris. The operations of Hamas in Palestine are a great example of resistance. We salute the martyrs of Palestine and Kashmir. On October 27, 2024, the nation will observe Black Day against Indian aggression.

Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, in his address, said that the fate of Kashmir will be decided by the people of Kashmir. The United Nations had passed a resolution for an independent state and a public referendum, which has yet to be implemented. The struggle of Kashmiris continues to this day. The people of the country feel the pain of their Kashmiri brothers. We fully support the Black Day on October 27.

Abdul Hameed Lund said in his address that the Palestine Foundation is raising its voice for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. Netanyahu and Narendra Modi are like brothers. The global community is deaf and blind when it comes to resolving the Kashmir and Palestine issues. The same atrocities occurring in Palestine are also happening in Kashmir.

Muhammad Hussain Mehanti said that the Muslim world is going through trials. The issue of Palestine is an issue for all humanity. Palestinian leaders and people have made great sacrifices on the path of resistance. Kashmir is part of Pakistan. Like in Palestine, genocide is being carried out in Kashmir. The rulers have not played an effective role in the Kashmir issue. The people of Gaza are making great sacrifices for freedom. The sacrifices of Sheikh Yassin, Abdul Aziz Rantisi, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Hassan Nasrallah are remarkable.

Murtaza Rahmani said in his speech that we stand shoulder to shoulder with our Kashmiri brothers. The resistance in Kashmir and Palestine has astonished the world.

Allama Aqeel Anjum said that innocent children in Gaza, Palestine are being subjected to barbarism. The Kashmir movement in Pakistan is no longer as strong as it was in the 1980s and 1990s. The rulers of the country only care about their own power. Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Hassan Nasrallah are the pride of the Muslim Ummah. The struggle of Hamas against the oppressors is a model for the entire Muslim world. We are ready to bear every hardship in the path of freedom.

Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi said that the silence of Arab countries on the issue of Palestine is criminal. Various Arab countries had secretly recognized Israel. After the Al-Aqsa Flood (operation) on October 7, today the oppressors are facing defeat.

Dr. Fazli Hussain said that the struggle of Hamas and Hezbollah has astonished the world. Highlighting the issues of Muslims around the world is also a form of jihad. It is the responsibility of all, including the youth, to stay informed about the situation.

Mahfooz Yar Khan said that all political parties in the country feel the pain of the Palestinians and Kashmiris. The brutality in Palestine has turned the global community against Israeli aggression. All parties should unite in the struggle for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine.
