GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least four Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Wednesday evening after an Israeli drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Local sources confirmed that the Israeli airstrike directly targeted a tent where families had sought refuge, resulting in several fatalities and injuries.
The Israeli military continues its deliberate policy of targeting inhabited homes and makeshift shelters across Gaza, part of a wider military strategy aimed at inflicting maximum harm on the civilian population.
This deadly attack comes amid the ongoing, brutal Israeli assault on Gaza, which was reignited on March 18 following the collapse of a fragile truce. Since then, the Israeli government has resumed its campaign of genocide, forced displacement, blockade of humanitarian aid, and closure of border crossings—continuing a war that began nearly 17 months ago.
