WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Monday. More than 51 Palestinians were detained during the raids, including two journalists.
Ten Palestinians were rounded up in Bethlehem, including the journalist Moaz Ibrahim Amarneh, who lost his left eye three years ago after being shot by an Israeli sniper while covering a protest.
The IOF also arrested seven youths in Ramallah after violently storming 11 towns and villages.
Four more Palestinians were arrested in Salfit, while three others were rounded up in Nablus.
16 more arrests were reported in al-Khalil, south of the West Bank.
The growing Israeli arrest campaigns in the West Bank came in a failed attempt to abort any anticipated rallies in support of the Gaza Strip.
According to the health ministry, 58 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since October 7, including 14 children and women.
