GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched 520 attacks on Gaza Strip’s hospitals during the Israeli genocidal war, according to the Director General of the Health and Society Association, Raafat Al -Majdalawi.
Al-Majdalawi said in a press conference on Thursday that the IOF targeted 50% of the Gaza Strip hospitals, putting 34 out of 38 completely out of service.
He explained that the IOF targeted more than 100 ambulances and arrested 2,260 members of the medical crew during the war before ceasefire agreement came into force last Sunday.
He added that six of the employees of Al-Awda Hospital were martyred during the Israeli occupation’s siege of the hospital.
Al-Majdalawi revealed that a second hospital is being established in Nuseirat in central Gaza in cooperation with international institutions, five primary health centers in the northern Gaza Strip, and six initial health centers in Gaza Governorate.
A field hospital will also be established in Deir Al-Balah in addition to five health centers in Khan Yunis and Central Gaza Governorate.
