Karachi (PNIC): The Video conference on Palestine issue was organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan and Institute of Research and Reforms (IRR). The online conference was chaired by Senator Rehman Malik and was attended by General (retd) Ghulam Mustafa, Senator Sitara Ayaz, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, Senator Talha Mahmood, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Nasir Shirazi, and Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam. In the conference, both the Kashmir and Palestinian cause were discussed in detail.
Former Interior Minister and PPP senior leader Senator A. Rehman Malik has said that the sacrifices of our Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters will not go in vain and Inshallah they will achieve the dream of independence from Israeli and Indian oppression. He was delivering an address as chief guest at a Webinar on the Palestine issue which was attended by a large number of speakers and audiences from across the globe. He said that heart bleeds to see the situation in Palestine and Kashmir where innocent and unarmed people are heartlessly massacred and human rights are violated by cruel Israeli and Indian armed forces respectively. He said that the Muslim world must unite as global colonial powers, including Israel and India, are directly taking advantage of the differences in the Muslim world. He urged the Muslim countries to resolve the issue of Palestine and Kashmir where Muslims are being persecuted on daily basis. He added that the Palestinian issue was the result of Britain’s prejudice towards Muslims and the same is the case of Kashmir. He said the Middle East had been destabilized to divert the world’s attention from the Palestinian issue and the world knows well how Iraq, Turkey, Libya, Syria, Yemen, all these Middle Eastern countries clashed with each other. He added that all of us know well how the most dangerous terrorist organization Daesh was created. He said that the creation of ISIS was a dangerous plot against Muslims in the best possible way which failed adding that the creation of ISIS is well elaborated in his book “ISIS-Rising Monster Worldwide”.
Gen (retd) Ghulam Mustafa said in the video conference that, the real threat to Israel is from Pakistan, Pakistan, Iran and Turkey will have to stand against the United States, Israel and India. Israel is present in Kashmir and Afghanistan. The assassination of Qasim Soleimani and the US government’s decision against the first qiblah are a conspiracy to destroy world peace.
Senator Sitara Ayaz said that if we look away from occupied Palestine today, how can we present our position on Kashmir to the world? She added that it is the responsibility of the Islamic world to strive for the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed went on saying that, The OIC is Slave of America and there is no hope from the rulers of Muslim countries. Senator Talha Mehmood said that Israel is involved in negative and terrorist activities all over the world. There are traitors in our ranks too. I will also have to deal with these black sheep.
Speakers added that India, Israel and the United States are working together on a dangerous plan against Muslims. They said that the United States has fully supported Israel in all its illegal activities. Former US President Trump recognized occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The Deal of the Century failed, and when it failed, he started another project called the Treaty of Abraham. Qasim Soleimani was killed in violation of the international laws. Israel has extended its influence to neighboring Sudan, Oman, Egypt, and other Arab countries, even in Kashmir and Afghanistan.
They said that Israel has buried its claws in the entire region and India and the United States are with it. In such a situation, if there is a threat to Israel from any country, it is Pakistan and to some extent from Iran. They further said that those who learn to give blood and sacrifice cannot be defeated, Kashmir and Palestine are free and geographically free.
Addressing the conference, the senators said that Israel does not allow any attempt to destabilize Pakistan to go unnoticed. Israel is the biggest enemy of Pakistan. Armed struggle is the only solution to get rid of Israel. Occupying Israel is in a state of uncertainty and this is the downfall of Israel. The Kashmir cause and the Palestinian cause are the ideological basis of Pakistan. Israel is a fake state of the usurping Zionists and Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians. Al-Quds Day should be celebrated on the last Friday of Ramadan, the government should hold celebrations at the official level.
Talking about the Indian Forces brutalities in Kashmir, they said that we have been played for seventy years on a ground which was not ours but always India instigated Pakistan. He said that the international community was silent spectators on the inhumane atrocities taking place in Kashmir and Palestine and now sadly Muslim countries have gradually decreased their support to Palestine and Kashmir due to Israel’s strong influences. They said that the massacre of Muslims in Palestine by Israeli forces is by design to bring demographic changes and cause further immigration of Palestinians and the same model is replicated in Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir by Modi. Speakers said that Geographical facts are being distorted both in Kashmir and Palestine. He said that let me quote here the words of the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who said “The Muslims of subcontinent would not remain as mere spectators. They would help the Arabs in Palestine by all possible means”. But we saw who recognized occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, they added. Senators said that the issue of Palestine and Kashmir needs to be discussed at the international level comprehensively. Peace in the Middle East cannot be achieved without giving the Palestine people their rights. They said that we will continue to demand the establishment of an independent and viable Palestinian state – a state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. They put demand to the government of Pakistan to hold last Friday of Ramadan as Al-Quds Day and it should be observed at government level.
