A Palestinian man was shot and killed on Thursday morning by Israeli occupation forces during a military raid into the town of Beit Duqqu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 42-year-old Palestinian Dawood Rayan, a resident of the town of Beit Duqqu, was shot in the heart and killed by Israeli occupation forces this morning during a military raind into the town.
He is the second resident of the town of Beit Duqqu to be shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces in less than 24 hours.
Yesterday, 54-year-old Palestinian Habbas Abdul Hafeez Rayan, from Beit Duqqu, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces near a military checkpoint at the entrance of the Beit Ur city, near the illegal settlement of Modi’in, over allegedly attempting to carry out a ramming and stabbing operation against soldiers manning the checkpoint.
Last month, Israeli occupation forces killed at least 29 Palestinians in the West Bank, making October the deadliest month there so far in what the United Nations’ humanitarian office said on Tuesday was on course to be the “deadliest year” since it started counting fatalities across the occupied Palestinian territories in 2005, as Israeli forces and settlers have killed 132 Palestinians in the West Bank in 2022.
