A 16-year-old Palestinian girl was fatally shot in cold blood by Israeli occupation forces in a furious military raid into the eastern neighborhood of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on Sunday night.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that
Jana Majdi Zakarneh, 16, was killed after being shot directly in the head with a live bullet fired by Israeli soldiers.

Last night, at approximately 10 p.m, an Israeli special forces unit raided the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city where the warning sirens blared.
Confrontations erupted between Palestinian residents and the Israeli soldiers who injured two people and arrested three others, claiming the three Palestinians were suspected of carrying out attacks against Israelis.
The Israeli military said it was aware of the teenager’s death and alleged an investigation was underway.
A one-day general strike is observed today in Jenin city in mourning for the girl’s death.
