A Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Firdous Shamim has said that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital is inevitable. He expressed these views during a meeting with the delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) on Saturday night, in which Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam and Dr. Ali Wasif participated.
The leader of PTI said that the problem of Palestine should be solved on a priority basis and the Palestinian people have the right to decide their future. He said that he strongly condemns the ongoing oppression and brutality in Palestine and calls upon the international community to rein in Israel. He further said that the people of Pakistan have a religious, human and heartfelt attachment to Palestine and our founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah has given the most importance to the Palestine issue, so it is our duty to follow the path of our forefathers.
On this occasion, the delegation of PLF presented an invitation of the Palestine Conference to Firdous Shamim, which he accepted and assured of his participation.
Dr. Sadaf Mustafa and Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam participated in the delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan.
