The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus at dawn on Monday, killing three young Palestinian men and injuring six others.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the martyrs as: Fathi Jihad Abdel Salam Rizk, 30, Abdullah Youssef Muhammad Abu Hamdan, 24, and Muhammad Bilal Muhammad Zaytoun, 32.
Six other youths were injured, one of whom is in critical condition.
Local sources affirmed that armed clashes erupted in the refugee camp after the IOF broke into the area amid heavy gunfire.
Israeli snipers were stationed over the tops of some homes, and ambulances were prevented from entering the camp.
Three homes were blown up during the raid, while dozens more were stormed and violently searched.
Since the start of the year, 156 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli forces’ and settlers’ attacks, including 26 children.
