Israeli army bulldozers on Wednesday morning infiltrated into the east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip under protection from other military units.
According to local sources, five bulldozers escorted by two tanks advanced from an Israeli military post behind the border fence towards agricultural plots of land in the east of al-Fakhari town.
The heavy machinery embarked on leveling and digging swaths of agricultural land, which are located about 50 meters from the border fence.
Meanwhile, other tanks and military jeeps were behind the security fence while some drones were seen overflying the area to provide more protection for the infiltrating units.
The eastern border areas of Gaza are repeatedly exposed to Israeli military incursions and gunfire attacks, which cause considerable damage to crops and prevent farmers from working their lands.
Israeli border incursions are seen as violations of the last ceasefire understandings brokered by mediators between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation government.
