The Israeli occupation army’s blockade of the occupied West Bank village of Mughayir in eastern Ramallah entered day 20 on Saturday.
Makeshift checkpoints were set up recently by Israeli forces at the village’s main entrances, forcing the local residents to use long and rough routes to reach workplaces and schools.
Last week, a local resident received a military notice informing him that five dunums of his land at the eastern entrance of the village would be seized in order to build a military watchtower.
The Israeli occupation army also handed recently another Mughayir villager a stop-work order against an agricultural facility and a sheep pen in the eastern side of the village.
The village and its residents are exposed to repeated settler attacks. In different incidents, extremist Jewish settlers wreaked havoc on olive groves and attacked farmers and their property many times.
Settlers also carried out an arson attack on the village’s mosque in 2014.
