The Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli occupation state’s intent to devise legislation imposing prison sentences on Palestinian children aged 12 and older as a “crime” and a “reflection of the occupation’s racist and savage nature.”
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas said that such a step vindicated further that the Israeli occupation state is a rogue entity with no respect for human values and norms.
The Movement stressed the need for the international community to take serious action to hold Israel accountable for its ongoing crimes against Palestinian children.
“The Palestinian children have always been exposed to the most heinous crimes by the Israeli machine of aggression and terrorism — which include killing, arrest, abuse, and torture,” the Movement underlined.
