Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Mar zouk has said that the complaints submitted to the International Criminal Court (ICC) about the inhumane Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip entail the need for the international community to take action in this regard.
“The Israeli siege has been imposed on Gaza to punish the Palestinian people for their free electoral choice,” Abu Mar zouk said in press remarks on Monday.
“The complaints submitted by Palestinian and international parliamentary and human rights bodies to courts and judicial authorities would bring justice to our people, who are subjected to the worst forms of siege, injustice, persecution, starvation and deprivation of the most basic human rights, in a gross violation of the international law,” the Hamas official underlined.
He added that the humanitarian suffering of the Gaza population entails more legal, rights and political efforts to put an end to the unjust Israeli siege.
