JERICHO, (The Palestine Information Centre) The Israeli occupation army imposed restrictions on Bedouin families in northern Jericho on Sunday to drive them out of the area.
Local sources explained that the Israeli army issued a military decision preventing any entry to 250 dunums of land, where about 25 Palestinian families from the Abul-Ajjaj Bedouin community live.
The land is located near an Israeli military base in the southeast of Jiftlik village.
However, this military order allows the Bedouin residents to continue living in the area, provided that they cannot make changes to their residential and agricultural structures and cannot move freely.
