Nablus (The Palestine Information Centre) The Gaza-based Hamas and Islamic Jihad resistance movements have condemned the recent Israeli killing of three Palestinians in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, calling for unity to confront the aggression of the “fascist” Israeli occupation forces.
The three Palestinians were killed on Tuesday morning as Israeli forces opened fire at their vehicle in the al-Tur area of Nablus, with local media saying the occupying regime’s soldiers prevented journalists and medical staff from approaching the scene of the crime.
The three Palestinians, as witnesses said, engaged in an armed clash with the occupation soldiers before they were fatally shot.
The assassinated Palestinians were identified as Noureddine Tayseer Al-Ardah, 32, Montaser Bahjat Ali Salameh, 33, and Saad Maher Al-Kharraz, 43.
The trio were reported to be members of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, which praised them as “heroes of the heroic Nablus operation.”
Having deliberately targeted surveillance cameras in the area in an attempt to hide evidence of their crime, the Israeli forces seized the bodies of the three slain Palestinians and their vehicle.
“This group of the al-Qassam Brigades’ fighters set out with all their faith and certainty to confront this criminal enemy in defense of our people and in support of the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, which is being subjected to a fierce attack by settlers,” Hamas said in a statement.
The resistance movement called on Palestinians to rally to repel the aggression of the “fascist occupation,” and to prepare to confront the settlers in al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied al-Quds.
