WEST BANK, , (The Palestine Information Centre) A young Palestinian man died of wounds he sustained during an Israeli military raid on Zawata village, west of Nablus, at dawn Thursday.
The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed that Amir Ahmed Muhammad Khalifa, 27, was killed after being shot in the head and back by Israeli gunfire.
Family sources affirmed that the Israeli forces failed to arrest or kill Khalifa more than once over the past two years.
Khalifa was shot and injured during the armed clashes that erupted in Zawata village following an Israeli army raid.
He was later proclaimed dead in Rafidia Hospital.
Since the start of the year, 224 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces, including 183 from the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, 4 from Arab towns within the Green Line, and 37 in the Gaza Strip.
