OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Information Centre)Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Thursday morning and later in the afternoon.
According to the al-Qastal News website, at least 503 settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection.
A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the Mosque, and harassed a number of them during their presence in its courtyards and the entrances leading to it
