RAMALLAH, (The Palestine Information Centre)Member of Hamas’s political bureau Hisham Qasem has called for escalating the resistance operations in the occupied West Bank to curb the Israeli settlement expansion plans.
“The Israeli settlement encroachment in the West Bank is taking place under the auspices of the fascist right-wing Israeli government, in the midst of international complicity and silence,” Qasem said in press remarks on Thursday.
The Hamas official underlined that since its formation eight months ago, the Israeli occupation government carried out and approved the most dangerous settlement projects, including a plan to build over 13,000 settler homes in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
“The Israeli government is racing against time to impose more faits accomplis on the ground,” he warned.
