OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Information Centre)Eight Palestinians were injured after Israeli police forces attacked worshipers at Aqsa Mosque’s Lions Gate in Occupied Jerusalem prior to Friday prayers.
Local source affirmed that the police forces assaulted the worshipers while they were heading to the Aqsa Mosque to perform Friday prayers.
Teargas bombs were fired at the Lions Gate during the attack, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Three Israeli policemen were injured during the confrontation, while at least one Palestinian was arrested.
