Palestinian injured after alleged attack on soldiers near al-Khalil

AL-KHALIL, (The Palestine Information Centre)A Palestinian young man was shot and critically wounded on Wednesday by the Israeli occupation forces (IOA) near al-Khalil in the West Bank on allegations of his attempt to carry out a car-ramming attack.

The identity of the wounded young man is still unknown.

According to the Hebrew media, Israeli soldiers manning an army post on a road near the illegal settlement of Beit Hagai showered an accelerating Palestinian car with bullets, wounding its driver.

The Israeli army claimed that the young driver tried to ram his car into a group of soldiers on the road.

Images from the scene showed the car, which had slammed into a concrete block at the army post, riddled with bullet holes. No soldiers were reportedly injured in the incident.
