RAMALLAH, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said on Monday that the health condition of prisoner Kayed al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 32 consecutive days in protest at his administrative detention, has noticeably deteriorated.
According to the Commission, prisoner Fasfous cannot walk and stand and suffers from extreme fatigue and exhaustion, pains throughout his body, dizziness, and short-term memory loss.
The Commission’s lawyer, who visited Fasfous recently, described the hunger striker’s health condition as “more sensitive and dangerous than before.”
The hunger striker is being treated recklessly and inhumanely and there are repeated attempts to provoke and blackmail him, according to the lawyer
