WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Tuesday several Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and Jerusalem, while local youths and resistance fighters confronted them in different areas.
According to local sources, young men showered an IOF vehicle with Molotov cocktails and damaged it during clashes with Israeli forces in Kafr Aqab town, north of Jerusalem.
In al-Khalil, Palestinian youths set an IOF vehicle aflame after attacking it with fire bombs near al-Arroub refugee camp.
An IOF watchtower near al-Arroub camp also went up in flames after youths throw fire bombs at it.
Meanwhile, resistance fighters reportedly opened fire at the illegal settlement of Bat Ayin near Beit Ummar town, north of al-Khalil.
Violent clashes also broke out between local youths and Israel forces in the cities of Ramallah and Bireh, during which young men threw stones, tires and Molotov cocktails at IOF vehicles.
In Jenin, a group of resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli forces during an IOF raid in Ya’bad town. One IOF vehicle reportedly sustained damage after an explosive device was detonated at it.
Another illegal settlement called Beqa’ot near Tamun town in eastern Tubas came under fire from resistance fighters last night.
Meanwhile, the IOF kidnaped at least 17 Palestinian citizens during dawn raids in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
