OCCUPIED JERUSALEM,(The Palestine Information Centre)Member of Hamas Movement’s political bureau abroad, Abdul-Jabbar Said, has warned of the Jewish settlers’ raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate Jewish holidays in the middle of the current month.
In a press statement on Thursday, Said underlined that such raids require the Palestinian people to mobilize at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against Jewish settlers’ desecration.
Said affirmed that the Israeli occupation is escalating its arrest and deportation campaigns against Jerusalemite activists to facilitate Jewish settlers’ raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
For his part, preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, had said that the Israeli occupation is taking advantage of Jewish holidays to impose a new fait accompli on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sheikh Sabri called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to defend it against the Israeli Judaization plans.
Jewish temple mount groups had renewed their calls on their followers to participate in massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate Jewish holidays starting from the 16th of September to the seventh of October.
