NABLUS, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation army demolished on Thursday morning a Palestinian commercial structure in the northwest of Beita town, south of Nablus, at the pretext that it had been built in a closed military zone.
Thaer Duwaikat, owner of the facility, said that the Israeli army bulldozed his construction hardware store with no prior notice, pointing out that it had been constructed on Palestinian-owned swaths of land in Area B of the West Bank.
Duwaikat added that he has a permit and official papers allowing him to work and build a facility in this area.
He also said that the Israeli army destroyed everything inside the store, adding that his financial losses are estimated at three million shekels.
