WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed a Palestinian from the town of al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, at dawn Friday.
Palestinian medical sources identified the martyr as Abdullah Abu Hassan, 18.
According to the sources, Abu Hassan succumbed to his wounds after Israeli forces opened fire during a storming of the town.
Abu Hassan was transferred to the Rafida Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Reports in local media stated that IOF soldiers stormed the town firing live bullets and teargas canisters, with additional reinforcements sent, adding that a number of other Palestinians were also injured by bullet fragments, while others suffered from teargas inhalation.
Meanwhile, seven Palestinians were injured, including an elderly Palestinian woman, and 130 others suffered from teargas inhalation after IOF soldiers stormed Nablus.
Local sources reported that Israeli special forces stormed the Rafidia neighborhood, west of the city, and surrounded a residential building amid heavy gunfire before targeting the house with four Energa missiles.
The IOF declared the arrest of a “wanted” Palestinian and two other young men, who were later released.
Armed clashes erupted in the area, where dozens of residents were injured.
According to medical sources, Israeli forces prevented ambulances from reaching the neighborhood where the raid was taking place.
