RAMALLAH, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and injured a Palestinian young man after opening fire at his vehicle near the Beit El checkpoint, north of Ramallah, on Friday morning.
Israeli forces were deployed in large numbers near the Beit El settlement following the incident.
The IOF also arrested another Palestinian after raiding his family house in the Al-Balou neighborhood, north of Ramallah.
In Jenin, clashes erupted after the IOF stormed Faqoua and Jalboun towns amid a heavy fire of teargas bombs.
Similar clashes also erupted in Al-Auja town, north of Jericho, and the Qalandia refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem.
Also in Occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli forces arrested the ex-prisoner Muhammad al-Bakri from his family house in Beit Hanina town, only a week before his wedding. Al-Bakri was freed from Israeli jails in 2021 after spending seven years in Israeli jails.
Meanwhile, the IOF took the measurements of two Palestinian houses in al-Khalil as a prelude to their demolition. The two notified houses belong to two imprisoned brothers who were charged with being involved in a shooting attack in August 2023.
Earlier Thursday, nine Palestinians were arrested across the West Bank, including a child.
