TULKAREM, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Director of UNRWA Affairs in the West Bank, Adam Bouloukos, has said that Israel used explosive materials to demolish houses of Palestinian refugees in Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarem.
During his visit to the refugee camp, Bouloukos said that Israel targeted a densely populated area in the camp and destroyed houses providing shelter for 40 Palestinian refugees.
Bouloukos pointed out that one of the completely destroyed houses belongs to a Palestinian family that has a child who uses a wheelchair and another who breathes with the help of an artificial respirator.
He underlined that 22 Palestinian houses were demolished, adding that 30 percent of the water network of the camp had been destroyed.
Two Palestinian citizens were martyred in the Israeli occupation army’s raid into the Nur Shams camp.
