AL-KHALIL, (The Palestine Information Centre)A Palestinian young man was shot dead at dawn Monday after he stormed with a bulldozer at an Israeli military checkpoint in al-Khalil City, south of the occupied West Bank.
According to eyewitnesses, a young man driving a bulldozer stormed an army checkpoint in the Wadi an-Nassar area in al-Khalil City before Israeli occupation forces (IOF) showered him with bullets and left him bleeding to death.
Later, IOF soldiers dragged the body of the bulldozer driver and then evacuated him from the area.
Local residents identified the young man as Rajeh Taha. His death raised the number of Palestinian young men killed by the IOF in the West Bank since Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” against the Israeli occupation started on Saturday to eight martyrs.
