WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a massive raid and arrest campaign in the West Bank on Sunday morning.
Local sources reported that 55 Palestinians were arrested across the West Bank towns and villages, many of whom are ex-prisoners.
Six Palestinians were detained in Nablus, while 11 citizens were briefly detained in Tal, southwest of the city, before being released.
Three more Palestinians were detained in Jenin, while three youths were injured in Tuba’s clashes, one of them in critical condition.
In Ramallah, the IOF troops rounded up 13 Palestinians in Beit Rima town and Al-Amari refugee camp.
The Israeli forces also detained two youths in Occupied Jerusalem and two others in Jericho.
12 youths were further detained in Bethlehem, while six were arrested in al-Khalil.
The growing Israeli arrest campaigns in the West Bank came in a failed attempt to abort any anticipated rallies in support of the Gaza Strip
