WEST BANK,(The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blew up a Palestinian house in Urif town, south of Nablus, at dawn Friday.
Local sources reported that 25 Israeli military vehicles stormed the town and surrounded a local house owned by the family of the martyr Khaled Sabah, who was shot and killed by Israeli gunfire last June for allegedly being involved in a shooting operation.
Sabah’s family members were forced to leave their house before being blown up.
Violent clashes erupted in the town following the demolition process. At least one young man was injured during the confrontations.
Meanwhile, 60 Palestinians were arrested in a large-scale raid campaign across the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
The arrests mainly targeted activists affiliated to and members of the Hamas Movement, three MPs and two journalists.
The detainees included 39 ex-prisoners from al-Khalil, eight citizens from Al-Samou town, three people from Ramallah and Al-Bireh, three others from Nablus, an ex-prisoner from Awarta town, and five more from Bethlehem.
On the other hand, the IOF ended the military raid into Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, which started at dawn Thursday.
13 Palestinian citizens were killed, and many others were injured during the raid, including children.
According to local sources, a child identified as 16-year-old Taha Mahamid was shot dead when Israeli soldiers opened fire indiscriminately at homes and citizens during armed clashes with resistance fighters in the camp.
The kid’s father was also injured by IOF gunfire as he was trying to save his son’s life after he was wounded.
During the events, the IOF launched a suicide drone attack on a group of youths in al-Manshiya neighborhood in the camp, killing and wounding a number of them and bystanders.
