WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Five Palestinians were killed, and many others were injured, by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank at dawn Wednesday.
Three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Jenin refugee camp.
23 people were also injured during the attack, some of whom are in serious condition, including a child.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the camp and deployed snipers on the rooftops of a number of homes and buildings, which led to the outbreak of clashes.
They noted that there was a power outage in several neighborhoods in the city of Jenin which coincided with the raid.
The IOF struck a site near the camp’s cemetery with two missiles, causing casualties, the sources added.
Another Palestinian was shot and killed in the Qalandia refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said that the martyr was shot in the head and chest as clashes erupted during an Israeli violent raid into the area.
Several Palestinians were also arrested during the raid, while five more suffered from gunshot injuries.
In Qalqilia, a 19-year-old Palestinian was shot and killed in an Israeli military raid into the city.
Earlier Tuesday, a Palestinian young man succumbed to the wounds which he sustained by Israeli gunfire during the Tulkarem raid last week.
Since Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, 103 Palestinians have been killed by IOF gunfire in the West Bank as Israeli forces escalate their violent raid campaigns across the West Bank cities and villages.
