OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center)A Palestinian young man was shot dead on Monday after he stabbed and seriously injured an Israeli police officer in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Hebrew media, a Palestinian attacked a police officer with a knife in the morning and seriously injured him before another officer opened fire at him.
The young man, whose identity is still unknown, was pronounced dead later.
Footage from the area and the Old City of Jerusalem showed Israeli police forces on alert, with Palestinian media saying that entry to the Old City and the Aqsa Mosque was restricted after the stabbing incident.
