AL-KHALIL,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed on Monday a Palestinian young man in the West Bank city of al-Khalil. Five others were wounded, three of them critically, after the IOF broke into the town of Halhoul north of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank.
Local sources reported that clashes erupted after the IOF stormed the town and started shooting live bullets as well as stun and gas grenades towards Palestinians who confronted the Israeli intruding soldiers.
The martyr was identified as 21-year-old Mahmoud Al-Atrash. Dozens of suffocation cases have also been reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli media sources said that Israeli police shot dead a 16-year-old Palestinian youth in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday after he allegedly stabbed two border officers near Bab al-Sahera outside of the Old City, wounding one of them seriously and the other lightly.
This brings the number of Palestinians who have been killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7 to 162 martyrs.
