AL-KHALIL,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blew up at dawn Friday the houses of two Palestinians prisoners, Mohammad and Saqer al-Shantir who are held captive in Israeli jails.
A local source reported that the IOF stormed in large numbers Khalet Manna neighborhood in southern al-Khalil and broke into the houses of the two detainees and forcibly evacuated them before placing bombs inside both houses.
The second floor of a 2-story building in addition to an apartment located on the second floor of another multi-story building were completely destroyed.
A bulldozer was brought to the site to finish the demolition of the houses amid military cordon that was imposed on the area where no one was allowed to approach, the source added.
Last night, the IOF raided the same area and surrounded Al-Tahrir Square and Al-Dahiya and Khalet Manaa neighborhoods in Doura town in southern Al-Khalil and imposed a curfew which led to the erupt of violent clashes with Palestinians.
The IOF arrested the two Hamas members Mohamad and Saqer on August 22 and charged them with carrying out a shooting operation in Kiryat Arba illegal settlement that led to the killing of an Israeli soldier and the injury of another.
On August 23, the IOF stormed their houses to take their measurements in preparation for knocking them down, the local source added.
