RAMALLAH(Palestine Foundation Information Center)A Palestinian young man was killed and four others were injured at dawn Thursday during clashes between local youths and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near the Ofer jail in Beitunia town, west of Ramallah.
Medical sources said that 21-year-old Fadi Badran died of a bullet injury in his chest and four others were injured during skirmishes with Israeli forces outside the Ofer jail.
Local sources said that the clashes started after the IOF embarked on dispersing the citizens who were waiting for the release of Palestinian prisoners from the jail as part of the humanitarian truce deal in Gaza, adding that the clashes escalated after Israeli forces stormed nearby neighborhoods in Beitunia town.
