WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out renewed raids on homes and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens from different West Bank areas last night and at dawn Monday.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped six citizens, including a child, during raids on homes in different areas of al-Khalil province,
In Jenin, the IOF broke into and ransacked several homes in the towns of Ya’bad and Kafr Dan and kidnaped two citizens.
Armed clashes reportedly took place with resistance fighters during the IOF campaign in Ya’bad town.
The IOF also stormed at dawn different areas of Ramallah, including the towns of Beitunia, Deir Mishaal and Birzeit, with no reported arrests.
In Nablus, the IOF stormed the city and Balata refugee camp, amid clashed with resistance fighters.
The Red Crescent said that one citizen suffered shrapnel injuries inside his house in Nablus City during violent clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli forces.
Local sources said that the armed clashes with the IOF broke out in Nablus City after resistance fighters opened fire at a military post on Mount Gerizim.
Meanwhile, three citizens, including a woman, were taken prisoners during the IOF raid in Balata camp.
The IOF also raided a number of homes in Balata camp, bulldozed some roads and stormed some towns in eastern Nablus.
In Bethlehem, two citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in different areas.
Israeli forces also stormed al-Deheisha refugee camp, where they raided homes and detained a number of citizens before releasing them later.
