DOHA(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Mohammad al-Hindi, the deputy secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, said that the war on Gaza is being led by Washington and the West to maintain what he described as “Israeli deterrence.”
Speaking to Al Jazeera, al-Hindi said that “annihilating the resistance is an illusion, as the entire Palestinian people are resistance.”
“What happened on October 7 was an earthshaking event in the region and undermined all arrangements for Israel’s control over the region,” al-Hindi said.
He further stressed that Israel is committing massacres against Palestinians to hide the failure of its ground invasion, adding that there is not an inch left in Gaza that has not been targeted by Israeli forces.
For the 75th consecutive day, the Israeli occupation’s massive carnage continues to claim more lives in the Gaza Strip as its army persists in bombing homes and buildings and targeting civilians.
