WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A number of Palestinian citizens were injured and others were kidnaped at dawn Tuesday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different West Bank areas.
The Red Crescent said that its ambulance crews provided medical assistance for nine citizens after they suffered shrapnel wounds when an IOF drone attacked a house in Tulkarem refugee camp.
One of those wounded citizens was kidnaped by Israeli soldiers before they released him later. The Red Crescent said one of its ambulances transferred him to hospital.
Local sources said that Israeli forces stopped two ambulances carrying wounded citizens at the entrance of Tulkarem camp and prevented their transfer to Thabet Thabet Hospital.
The sources added that the IOF bulldozed the Martyrs Memorial in al-Nadi neighborhood in Tulkarem camp, demolished the gates of UNRWA schools and deployed army vehicles in their courtyards.
The IOF also destroyed a number of commercial stores and facilities as well as roads and infrastructure, and deployed snipers on rooftops of some tall buildings in the camp, which is reportedly under siege from all sides.
Meanwhile, clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in the camp, amid sounds of explosions.
Earlier, the IOF stormed Aktaba suburb, east of Tulkarem City, assassinated three young men and kidnaped two others.
In Ramallah, two young citizens were injured by gunfire and two others, a father and his sons, were kidnaped following an IOF raid in the city. One of the young men was seriously wounded in his back.
The IOF also stormed Dura village in the northeast of Ramallah, with no reported clashes or arrests.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces withdrew from the city after kidnaping four citizens from their homes.
In Jenin, a number of citizens were kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in Ya’bad town.
