Lahore (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) and Buddy’s Cycle Club organized a Cycle ride in Solidarity with Palestine at Lahore. According to information despite the extreme cold and foggy weather, a large number of citizens participated in the cycle ride for Palestine, including children, women, and youth.
The cycle ride for Palestine was led by PLF Secretary General Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam and Buddies Cycle Club’s Tanveer Khan and Sarah Habib.
Hundreds of cyclists participated in the Solidarity Palestine Bicycle Rally.
The central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaquat Baloch, leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Maulana Zaheer Karbalai, leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ahmed Salman, Sara Habib, Rana Kazim from civil society, Irshad Nasir and Usman Mohiuddin, spokesperson of Palestine Foundation Pakistan Lahore chapter, participated in the Solidarity Palestine cycle rally.
The rally started from Liberty Square and ended through different areas of the city.
The participants of the cycle ride for Palestine put the Palestinian flag on their bicycles and carried placards saying stop the killing of children in Gaza.
The participants also carried placards of Israel is an illegitimate state.
The participants of the rally strongly condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression in Gaza and demanded an immediate end to the Israeli aggression.
Addressing the participants of the rally, leaders of political and religious parties said that the people of Pakistan are with Palestine and strongly condemn the ongoing aggression in Gaza.
They further said that there are anti-national and anti-Palestinian elements in Pakistan who talk about a two-state solution. People of Pakistan will not forgive such anti-national elements.
In the rally, slogans for the freedom of Palestine were also raised, including “Death to America” and “No to Israel”.
