WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Salah Eddin Shawamra, who was shot by Israeli forces along with his two brothers near al-Khalil, has died, the Palestinian Health Ministry declared.
Shawamra’s older brother, Najemeddin, was also killed in the incident. The third sibling, Mohammed, escaped with minor injuries, local sources said.
The three brothers were picking akoub (or gundelia), a cherished native plant, when they were shot.
Earlier Thursday, Ministry of Health said that a Palestinian citizen was killed and two others wounded, one of them in critical condition, by the IOF in Beit Awa village.
