WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Wednesday, amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources, Israeli forces kidnaped three young men from a car near al-Razi Hospital in Jenin City after assaulting them and detonating their vehicle.
The IOF also kidnaped four young men, including two brothers, from their homes during raids in the towns of Yamun and Burqin, west of Jenin.
The IOF reportedly stormed different areas of Jenin province, including the city, its refugee camp, Kafr Dan town, and Qabatiya town, while resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli forces and detonated several explosive devices at their vehicles.
The IOF bulldozed infrastructure and roads during its raids in Qabatiya town and detonated the main water pipe line in Jenin City.
Four citizens were injured, one seriously, by IOF gunfire in Qabatiya town.
In Nablus, Israeli forces stormed Burqa village and clashed with local youths, amid intensive gunfire. One young woman suffered a bullet injury in her shoulder during her presence inside her home during the IOF raid.
The IOF also stormed other areas of Nablus province, including Qabalan town and Tel village where they raided homes.
In Salfit, Israeli forces launched raids in the towns of Kafr ad-Dik, Bruqin and Qarawat Bani Hassan, raided homes and stores, and confiscated security camera recordings.
In Ramallah, local sources reported that the IOF kidnaped a number of citizens following raids on homes in Deir Ibzi town.
One young man was taken prisoner during an IOF raid on his home in al-Am’ari refugee camp in Bireh City, south of Ramallah.
The IOF also kidnaped two young men from the southern area of al-Khalil City and another one from Ashawawra village in the east of Bethlehem.
