TEHRAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, confirmed that Israel will not be able to impose its conditions on the Palestinian people, neither through war nor through politics.
Haneyya said during a meeting held with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Wednesday, that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood inflicted a defeat on Israel, which has not yet been able to achieve any of its goals in the war.
Haneyya added, “Whatever the decision of the International Court of Justice was, the Israeli entity has been put on trial and its crimes were exposed,” adding that the recent aggressions in Gaza constituted a scandal to the US and the Western countries that support Israel.
The Hamas leader stressed the need for the Islamic world to stand by the side of the steadfast people in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said, “The world has become aware that Israel has become a source of insecurity and destabilization in the region,” expressing his dismay at the lack of action by the leaders of some Islamic countries regarding Israeli crimes.
Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 120,000 martyrs, wounded and missing persons, 72% of whom were children and women, in addition to the displacement of two million people and the massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, affecting more than 70% of buildings, with a tight siege, a stifling humanitarian crisis, and an unprecedented famine, especially in Gaza City and its north.
