WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man was martyred at dawn Wednesday after he allegedly rammed his car into Israeli police officers at a checkpoint near Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Hebrew media, four police officers were injured, one seriously, in a car-ramming attack near the settlement of Kochav Yair.
Soon later, the young man headed towards the Eliyahu checkpoint between Israel and the occupied West Bank, where he was shot dead after attempting to stab other police officers.
The slain young man was identified as Wahhab Shbita, a 26-year-old from Tira City in 1948-occupied Palestine.
