GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has expressed its condolences to Ismail Haneyya, head of its political bureau, over the martyrdom of his sons and grandchildren in an Israeli airstrike on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
In a press release on Wednesday, Hamas affirmed that “the Nazi occupation army’s targeting of its leaders, their children and families will only increase their steadfastness and their determination to continue the battle until the achievement of the Palestinian people’s aspirations for liberation and return.”
“These are desperate attempts by a cowardly army that has failed on the battlefield and is terrified of the resistance’s strikes, bravery and precise ambushes,” Hamas added.
“The occupation is delusional if it thinks that the escalation of its terrorism, genocidal war and its barbaric attacks on defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip will enable it to achieve something in the talks [over Gaza] after its miserable failure to attain its aggressive goals,” it emphasized.
