GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza said on Wednesday, “The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed new crimes against humanity in the areas of Al-Mughraqa, Al-Zahraa, and the new camp north of Nuseirat, resulting in 520 martyrs, wounded and missing people, and destroyed more than 13,000 housing units within a week.”
“The IOF destroyed the camp north of Nuseirat in one week, knocking down 14 towers and residential buildings, and dozens of homes for those who were displaced under the threat of bombardment and murder,” the GMO added.
“We denounce and condemn in the strongest terms the crime of the IOF against Palestinian civilians, neighborhoods, residential towers, buildings, and homes. We call on all international organizations and all countries of the free world to condemn this crime, which the occupation has repeated hundreds of times in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the genocidal war against our Palestinian people”, the Office said in a statement.
The GMO held the US administration and the international community, in addition to Israel, fully responsible for these crimes and their repercussions on the lives of civilians. “We call on all countries of the world to pursue the occupation and its leaders in international forums and courts to make them pay for the crime of genocide in Gaza,” it demanded.
Since October 7, the IOF has been continuing its bloody aggression against the Gaza Strip, with US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 33,899 people and the injury of 76,664 others, in addition to the displacement of about 1.7 million people from the Strip’s population, according to UN reports.
