TULKAREM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Armed clashes broke out between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Nour Shams refugee Camp in Tulkarem Governorate for the third consecutive day.
The clashes erupted after the IOF troops stormed the camp and surrounded a local house before bombing it.
The Israeli military has carried out near-daily raids throughout the occupied West Bank since October 7, encountering some of its fiercest resistance in the Nour Shams camp.
The Israeli soldiers went into Nour Shams refugee camp late Thursday night and on Friday. Five Palestinian resistance fighters were killed in the Israeli military raid.
The IOF also destroyed roads, buildings, shops, and houses, and tore up sewage lines, carrying out on-site interrogations.
Locals describe the military raid as the worst destruction of infrastructure they’ve seen in the West Bank since the destruction of the Jenin refugee camp during the second Intifada in the early 2000s.
